I offer individual counseling for children, teens, and adults, along with family and parent counseling to help strengthen connection, communication, and confidence at home. I also provide consulting services for parents and professionals who may not need ongoing therapy but are looking for guidance, fresh perspective, or practical strategies. Think of it as support that meets you exactly where you are.

You can expect a calm, welcoming environment designed for you to feel safe and grounded. Sessions are about 50 minutes and are structured to your needs that day.
A typical session might include:
Processing current stressors or events
Exploring patterns and emotional responses
Learning practical coping tools
Reflecting on personal growth
Setting meaningful goals
Some sessions may feel conversational and reflective. Others may be more skill-focused and practical. At times, we may gently explore deeper experiences that are influencing your present. The pace is always collaborative and respectful of your comfort level.
You do not have to “prepare” for the session or have all the “right words”- just come as you are!

Great question—because let’s be honest, there are a lot of us out there!
What sets me apart is my background. With over 10 years working in education, I’ve been in the trenches with kids, teens, and families long before becoming a therapist. I understand the real-life dynamics that show up at school, at home, and everywhere in between.
I am also a wife, mom and professional which puts me in the “if you know, you know” category. I take pride in helping teens manage stress and anxiety, women move through life transitions with clarity and confidence, and professionals prevent or recover from burnout.
My style is warm, down-to-earth, and solution-focused. That means you’ll feel supported and heard, but we’re also going to get to work. I like to bring a little “let’s figure this out together” energy into sessions—because growth doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. It can feel doable… and even a little empowering!

Short answer; I don’t—and here’s why. I’m also a mom with a full life outside of the therapy room, so my availability is Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The good news? Those set hours allow me to show up fully present, energized, and consistent for the clients I serve. And when you’re doing this kind of work, that really matters.

To protect the integrity of the therapeutic process, I do not provide individual counseling to both partners within the same relationship. While it may seem helpful, this can create a conflict of interest and may impact the effectiveness of therapy.
If both partners are seeking support, I’m happy to work with one individual while helping connect the other partner to a trusted referral. If you’re looking to work on your relationship together, I can also provide or recommend appropriate couples counseling options.

While I support the therapeutic benefits that animals can provide, my practice does not conduct evaluations or provide documentation for Emotional Support Animals. If you are seeking an ESA letter, I encourage you to consult with a provider who specializes in ESA assessments.

A Good Faith Estimate is a document that outlines the expected cost of your therapy services. Under the No Surprises Act, healthcare providers are required to give clients who are not using insurance (or who choose to self-pay) an estimate of what their services may cost.
It helps you know what to expect financially before getting started. Your estimate will include the cost per session and an overall projection based on your unique needs and treatment goals.
If you ever have questions about your estimate or fees, I’m always happy to walk through it with you.
For more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises

Once your request is received, I will provide the necessary steps and any required authorization forms to process your request.
In accordance with Texas law, records are typically provided within 15 business days of receiving a completed request and authorization. A $35 document fee may apply for copying or preparation, as permitted by law.
In some situations, access to certain portions of records may be limited. This can include instances where releasing the information could reasonably be expected to cause serious harm to you or another person, or when the record contains confidential information about another individual. For minor clients, there may also be times when limiting access to specific details is clinically appropriate in order to protect the trust and therapeutic relationship that is essential for effective treatment.
